OfficeMax offers a money-back guarantee on most products purchased from our catalogue or retail store, returned within 14 days of delivery. This excludes furniture, customized products, text books and freight & handling charges. A freight and handling charge may be applied to collect large bulky items or hazardous goods.

To Return a Product:

  • Retail purchases: Please return the item to the retail store where you purchased it along with proof of purchase.
  • Catalogue or internet purchases: Please call our contact centre on 0800 426 473 to arrange collection.

 

Low Price Guarantee

If you find a lower advertised price on an identical item we stock, just show us the lower price when you place your order with OfficeMax and we’ll match the price.

Special Conditions:

  • The item must be in stock and available for immediate purchase at the published price from a competing company (excluding wholesalers and internet only retailers) within New Zealand.
  • Item must be the same brand, same model number, same supplier product code, contain the same components and the published price be applicable for the same quantity.
  • Product Price & Availability Verification: OfficeMax reserves the right to verify the competing company's product availability and price at the time of the request for a price match guarantee and the price-match is subject to such verification.
  • Freight and handling: These charges are included in the OfficeMax price for orders over $50 excluding GST (exceptions apply). Any additional service or delivery charge on the other company's price will be added to ensure an “apples to apples” match.
  • Special Offers: Competing company offers where the product includes an additional free or discounted item will not be matched.
  • Quantity Limits: OfficeMax reserves the right to limit quantities of an item that may be price-matched. For example, if the other company limits the number you may buy, we may also limit the number.
  • Exclusions: Products and services ordered specially for a customer, typographical errors on flyers or advertisements or items that include a rebate or free item.
